What happens if my booking is affected by a natural disaster?

  • If your reservation is affected by a natural disaster and you need immediate help finding alternative rentals, please contact customer service  

    • To ask Support a question or send a message, go to the Help Center Contact Us page

    • Click on New Ticket and fill out the form, Support will reply within 24 hours, or

    • Use our Chat: Chat icon is in the lower right hand corner of all the website pages, just click on it and you can ask your question

    • Email Support: Support@TheVakay.com

    • Call Support: 833-MyVakay (833-698-2529)

  • If you haven't left home yet, and are unsure if it's safe to travel, please call or message the property owner

  • You can send a message to the property owner directly from the property listing page:

    • Locate the listing

    • Click the Ask the Owner blue button on the right side of the page

    • This will take you to your Dashboard

    • If you are not logged in, you will be asked to login

    • In the message box, please write your message

    • Click on the blue button with the airplane to send your message
